Instructing us
It is very simple to instruct us. Just telephone: 01554 830001 or (out of hours) 07721 396992 or email: info@heraldservices.co.uk
Tell us which documents need to be served, who needs to be served and information where to serve and the timescale required. We will provide you with a fixed fee and for peace of mind an email notification of receipt of the documents when they arrive.
We accept urgent instructions for documents to be served on the same day. We can coordinate the collection of documents from your offices or from a court.
We will email you information obtained during our attendance, whether the intended recipient is present and ultimately a date and time when the documents have been personally served. We offer a very fast turnaround time and immediately update you if for any reason we anticipate a delay due to a recipient not being available.
Instructions will be undertaken by an experienced process server who will provide a detailed report and proof of service in the form of a Statement, Certificate or Affidavit of Service exhibiting the documents served.
Comprehensive range of supporting evidence and data
If required we can provide date and time stamped photographic evidence obtained during an attendance and our reports will include information describing the recipient and when necessary information relating to visual assets, property, employment and lifestyle.
Where an address or whereabouts of an intended recipient or company is in doubt we can offer our Trace service before attending. Many clients instruct us with very little current information relating to the whereabouts of the intended recipient of documents that need to be served. We offer the ability to utilise our Tracing resources to locate the intended recipient(s) and then proceed to personally serve them. This facility is particularly useful for debt related matters and absconders.
If the person or company you wish to serve legal documents to has moved from outside of Wales, we can also coordinate the service of these documents for you throughout the UK.
Experienced in complex assignments
The requirement for the service of legal documents can often be complex. We are experienced in coordinating high profile assignments and can trace debtors and absconders who have been involved in fraud and successfully serve them.
As you can see, when we attend to serve legal documents, we gather as much information as possible and this can sometimes be vital evidence to prove that the documents were served correctly or in some circumstances to convince a court to grant substituted service.
Compliance
All personal data is used in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and our investigations are lawfully undertaken in compliance with current legislation.
